EXAMPLE:7-Trimethylsilyl-4-demethoxydaunomycin. USE:An intermediate for synthesizing adriamycin, a carcinostatic agent, and its analogues. PREPARATION:A compound shown by the formula II is reacted with a ketene silyl acetal shown by the formula III (R and R are lower alkyl) or 1,3-diketone silyl enol ether shown by the formula IV (R and R are lower alkyl) in a solvent such as methylene chloride, ether, etc. at -20-20 deg.C, to give a compound shown by the formula I .
