PURPOSE:To attain the remote and automatic application of the power supply of a device at one side by applying the power supply application signal of a signal generating means to the power supply of said device through application of the power supply of a device at the other side. CONSTITUTION:A power supply application switch 10a of a device DV0 is turned on and its own power supply board 1a is applied by the power supply application signal. Then a signal generating circuit 4a produces the power supply application signal and applies it to a power supply board 1b of a device DV1 via a connector 51, a cable CL1 and a connector 52 for application of the board 1b. In the same way, a signal generating circuit 4b produces a power supply application signal with application of the board 1b and applies it to a power supply board 1c of a device DV2 via a connector 53, a cable CL2 and a connector 54 for application of the board 1c. Thus the power supplies of devices DV1 and DV2 connected in series to the device DV0 are applied automatically by the application of the power supply of the DV0. Thus the DV0 can transfer data via the DV1 and DV2.
