SHAVING IMPLEMENT

PURPOSE:To obtain a shaving implement with good sharpness, without having a rough skin and developing an allergy to the skin, by a method wherein a coating film made from hydroxyapatite (HAP) is formed on the surface of the shaving implement. CONSTITUTION:About a blade 1 of the title implement, a coating film 3 made from HAP is formed on the surface of a blade body 2 made of stainless steel or carbon steel. This HAP-made coating film 3 may be formed on the whole surface of the blade body 2 or may be formed only on its top part which may come into contact with skin, or may be formed on the part to be in contact with the skin except the top side part of the blade body. In this case, a sharp blade body is exposed at the top side of the blade. In this way, good sharpness is obtained and since the other place to be in contact with the skin is formed of the HAP-made coating film, it can be decreased that a user may have a rough skin.
