Zusammenfassung: | NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I [one to four of R to R are 1-40C aliphatic acyl groups and the rest are H; when one is the aliphatic acyl group, it is not 2-palmitoyl or 6-aliphatic acyl group; when two are aliphatic acyl groups, they are not mutually at positions of the corresponding numbers; when three are the aliphatic acyl groups, they are not 2,3,2'-tripalmitoyl and when four are the aliphatic acyl groups, they are neither mutually at positions of the corresponding numbers nor at the 2,3,4,2'- or 2,3,6,2'-positions]. EXAMPLE:2-O-(9,10-Epoxystearoyl)-alpha,alpha-trehalose. USE:An antitumor agent with high safety. PREPARATION:alpha,alpha-Trehalose expressed by formula II is initially protected to provide a compound expressed by formula III (Ra to Rc are bifunctional OH-protecting groups), which is then acylated in the presence of a base in an inert solvent to afford a compound expressed by formula IV. The resultant compound expressed by formula IV is subsequently deprotected. |
