Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To measure the content of an alcohol in fuel accurately by performing the measurement using an oscillatory circuit and regulating the measuring frequency. CONSTITUTION: The frequency of a conductor 23 obtained from a measuring circuit 22 depending on the alcohol content of a fuel in a measuring cell 21 is compared with a target value 25 predetermined by a circuit 24. Consequently, a regulation amount (operating amount) is produced at a point 26 and acts on the circuit 22 as follows. The measured frequency is matched with the target value upon occurrence of a difference. The regulation amount can be outputted as a measure of the alcohol content from a terminal 27.
