CONFLUENCE CONTROLLER FOR UNMANNED CARRIER

PURPOSE:To simplify confluence control by switching an entrance permission signal for an unmanned carrier entering into a confluent point at arbitral time for respective confluent routes and controlling a system so that only one unmanned carrier exists in the confluent point. CONSTITUTION:A confluence controller 5 generates the confluent point entrance permission signal of the unmanned vehicle 4 from signal generators 1a and 2a for prescribed time for respective confluent routes. At first, entrance permission is generated for one route, the entrance permission is eliminated after prescribed time, and entrance permission is generated for the other route. The unmanned carrier 4 traveling the confluent point detects the entrance permission signal by a detector 4b on the unmanned carrier 4. When the signal is detected, the carrier 4 travels to ward the confluent point, and stops travel when it cannot be detected. Thus, confluence control can be simplified.
