Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To retard the exhaustion of a battery contained in a fuel-shutoff device by a method wherein, when the fuel-shutoff device detects a malfunction, indication of the malfunction is omitted on the side of the fuel-shutoff device. CONSTITUTION:When a safety cutoff 4-1 outputs a malfunction signal to A, this output is outputted as a signal from a NAND gate 8-3A and shown at a point B and actuates a display 6; simultaneously, the safety cutoff 4-1 sends a malfunction signal to a communication control 8-2, which transcribes it into an electric code and transmits the code through a control-signal input-output part 3 to the center; the center reads the malfunction and simultaneously transmits a code for an indication-control signal through the control-signal input-output part 3 to the communication control 8-2, which decodes the code and outputs an indication-stopping signal to a point S with an effect to turn an output of an RS-FF8-3B to 'H'; as a result, the signal at a point A is not shown in the output B from the NAND gate 8-3A. When the malfunction signal ceases to be transmitted, the center transmits a code for an indication-control signal through the control-signal input-output part 3 to the communication control 8-2, which decodes the code and outputs a signal for ending the indication stoppage to a point R so that the point A resets to a standby for a malfunction signal.
