DRY COPYING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To miniaturize a copying machine and to reduce the cost of the machine by uniformizing toner concentration distribution in the width direction of developer without providing a means for moving the developer in the width direction in a developer reservoir. CONSTITUTION:A toner image which is removed by a cleaning device is formed at a part where toner is received from a developer conveying body on the outside of the width of a part where the toner image is formed before or behind a part where the toner image on the surface of a photosensitive drum is transferred to a recording paper. With such constitution, the toner consentration distribution in the width direction of the developer is uniformized even when the conveying means in the width direction of the developer in the developer reservoir is eliminated. Therefore, the copying machine is miniaturized and produced at low cost. Furthermore, the splash of the toner and the occurrence of the unevenness of a copied image are reduced.
