SELECTION PICTURE TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To attain the communication in response to the request of the operator by using a switch section to select a mesh pattern thereby designating the center position of the mesh pattern. CONSTITUTION:A picture to be sent is obtained by a picture pickup section 1 and a picture sent from a picture processing section 2 is stored in a picture memory 5. An ununiform mesh pattern 10 with fine mesh in the center and rough at the surrounding is provided in the processing section 2 and the shape of the pattern 10 is set variably in response to the purpose of use. The operator uses a switch section 3 to select one of the patterns 10 and the center position O of the pattern 10 is set by using a cursor key. A mesh pattern signal and a position coordinate signal are sent to an opposite picture transmission reception section 4 and the pattern 10 is overlapped onto the picture element signal in the memory section 5 stored based on the signal at the processing section 2 to constitute each picture element signal and to display the result onto a picture display section 6.
