HOLDER FOR WIRE-SHAPED LIGHT TRANSMISSION BODY

PURPOSE:To obtain the low-cost of a wire-shaped light transmission body by providing a root tube part having a continuous peripheral wall in the circumferential direction and an elastic piece part which is formed with lancing grooves of a prescribed length along the axial line from the side end and is thereby made into a divergent shape. CONSTITUTION:The left half part of an elastic tubular body 2 constitutes the root tube part 8 having the continuous peripheral wall in the circumferential direction and the right half part is formed with two pieces of the lancing grooves 9 of the prescribed length along the axial direction from the right side end and is thereby made into the divergent shape. Namely, the wire-shaped light transmission body is circumferentially held on the root tube part side of the elastic piece part 10. The holding part thereof and the pressing part 12 of the elastic piece part 10 are parted in the axial direction. Some difference in the elongation and contraction with a temp. change or some fluctuation in the dimensions of parts is absorbed by the elastic part between the holding part and the pressing part even if such difference or fluctuation exists and, therefore, the generation of undue stresses or scratching in the wire-shaped light transmission body 6 is obviated. The pressing force to the elastic piece part 10 is removed in this way, by which the easy disassembly and reassembly possible and, therefore, the yield is improved and the cost is reduced.
