PURPOSE:To dissolve the trouble of difficult maintenance of a gear pump by a method wherein a mixing chamber, in which flighted screw rotors are contained, is titled together with an outer shell main drum. CONSTITUTION:Plastic material, which is continuously supplied from a vertically upward open material supplying port 8, is filled over two rotors 7, which are disposed in an array in oblique direction, so as to be advanced in a mixing chamber 6 by the pivoting of the rotors 7 and feeder screw flights 10. The plastic material is kneaded at the gap made between the screw flight 10 and the inner surface of the mixing chamber 6 so as to be melted and plasticized in order to be flowed through a discharge port 9 and metered and pressure-fed with a gear pump 4. Next, the plastic material is extruded from a forming die and cut through the rotation of a high speed cutter so as to be granulated into the form of pellets. Because the mixing chamber 6 is tilted, the uniform supplying distribution of material to the two rotors 7 is made possible.
