Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To heat the wall of a pressure vessel uniformly by providing a supporting means comprising a hollow tubular body having shape substantially matching that of a containment and secured to a top plate. CONSTITUTION: A top plate 6 serves as the support for a heater assembly in a pressure vessel and it is useful as a supporting face when a worker positions a thermocouple and performs required electrical connection thereof. In order to remove water from the bottom of the pressure vessel prior to heat treatment, the heater unit assembly is provided with a drain pipe extending vertically along the axis thereof and projecting downward through the central opening of a dome. According to such arrangement as the heater units 14, 16 are arranged in a plurality of horizontal rows, the wall of the pressure vessel is heated more uniformly.
