Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To make coating layer wt. distribution uniform over the whole operating width by fixing extended heating strips over the whole operating width to a doctor beam side apart away from an opposite roll. CONSTITUTION: Deviation of coating layer weight from a straightly traveling line over the whole operating width is measured. Heating electric power of heating strips 16 located on an upper doctor beam 5 side apart from an opposite roll 1 is controlled by a controlling and adjusting device 15 by using the measured deviation as a control amount. By this controlling, uniform temperature is generated on the back wall 5.1 and the lower wall 5.2 of the doctor beam 5 to make the coating layer wt. distribution uniform. Further, disturbing quantity in coating layer wt. distribution which changes during the operating is easily corrected.
