PRESS DEVICE

PURPOSE:To press a flange section of a plastic container main body with good accuracy by installing guides having a shape corresponding to a body section and a bottom section of the container main body in a press male mold and retaining elastically a press plate for pressing the bottom section of container main body on the inner side of the press male mold. CONSTITUTION:Guides 25-27 to be installed in a plastic container main body 45 are provided on a press male mold 21a, a cooling table 22 and the upper section of a cutting male mold 23a, and the guides 25-27 are provided with the shapes corresponding to a body section 47 and a bottom section 48 of the container main body 45 to fix the container main body 45 in the given position. A shaft 56 is disposed slidably in the axial line direction on an upper plate section 58 of a press female mold 21b and a press plste 55 is mounted on the lower end of the shaft 56. The body section 48 of the container main body 45 is pressed elastically by means of the press plate 55 and a spring 57 to fit the container main body 45 for the guide 25. Thus, a flange section 46 can be pressed with good accuracy between the press male mold 21a and the press female mold 21b.
