SAFETY DEVICE IN ELEVATOR TYPE PARKING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a trouble by stopping the driving of a parking device when the abnormality of a mounted automobile is detected through a detecting frame provided on an automobile delivering section between the ascent and descent path of an elevator and a parking section. CONSTITUTION:An elevator type three dimensional multistory parking device, which delivers automobiles 2 between an elevator mechanism 9 for ascending and descending with the mounted automobiles 2 and multistage type parking sections 3 provided along the ascent and descent path 4 of the elevator 5, is provided. An automobile delivering section between the ascent and descent path 4 of the elevator 5 and the parking sections 3 in the device is vertical- movably provided with grid-shaped detecting frames 41 correspondingly to a parking space. Thus, when detecting frames 41 detects the abnormality of the mounted automobiles 2, the driving of the parking device is stopped.
