Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To obtain a molded article having excellent heat-resistance, etc., by mixing a polypropylene with a polymer capable of forming an anisotropic molten phase at a specific ratio, granulating the mixture in molten state to obtain a composition containing the polymer in fibrous state and molding the composition at a temperature below the melting temperature of the polymer. CONSTITUTION:A molded article having excellent fluidity and mechanical property can be produced by mixing >=50wt.% (preferably 70-90wt.%) of a polypropylene with >=5wt.% (preferably 10-30wt.%) of a polymer capable of forming an anisotropic molten phase (e.g. a copolymer of polyethylene terephthalate and p-hydroxybenzoic acid), granulating the mixture at a shearing rate of 1X10 sec at a cylinder temperature to get a melt viscosity ratio of 0.8-1.2 to obtain a composition containing said polymer in fibrous state having an aspect ratio of >=10 and molding the composition at a temperature below the melting temperature of the polymer. |
