TERMINAL SECTION OF OIL-FILLED CABLE

PURPOSE:To shorten the insertion clearance of the terminal section of a cable by connecting a leading-out conductive bar and a cable conductor, etc., through a slip-on conductive bar inserted into an epoxy bushing. CONSTITUTION:When the terminal section of an OF cable is formed, a bell mouth 18 is installed previously to a slip-on conductive bar 13, the bell mouth is inserted from the bottom of an epoxy bushing 11, and the nose of the slip-on conductive bar 13 and the end section of a leading-out conductive bar 15 are connected through a tulip contact 14. The terminal section of the OF cable 1 is stripped-stepwise, and a conductor 1c is compression-joined with a compression-joint section 12. Accordingly, when the slip-on conductive bar 13 is beforehand lengthened sufficiently, the movement of the cable may comparatively be reduced.
