METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DEODORIZING COMMON SPACE

PURPOSE:To effectively deodorize the whole of a common space and to prevent the remaining of the smell of a deodorizer itself after deodorizing by spraying and diffusing natural essential oil having deodorizing effect into a common space such as the quest room of a hotel or a train. CONSTITUTION:Natural essential oil having deodorizing effect is sprayed into an air supply duct 7 by an essential oil sprayer 8 and, when a common space 2 is filled with the atomized natural essential oil, the offensive smell such as body smell suspended in the common space 2 can be removed and the atomized natural essential oil is bonded to a wall or floor to make it possible to also remove the smell infiltrated into the wall of floor. By this method, different from a conventional deodorizing method, the smell of the whole of the common space 2 can effectively be removed. The aroma of the natural essential oil is not stronger than that of a conventional aromatic and the situation such that aroma is infiltrated into a person or wall can be avoided. Further, since the natural essential oil has the sterilizing or propagation preventing and evading effect to a harmful insect such as a mite or a fly, sanitarization effect can be also achieved.
