Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To manufacture a ceramic superconductor with high critical current density efficiently by carrying out heating treatment after repeating successive processes of extrusion, molding, filling, and packing of raw material powders in vacuum. CONSTITUTION:A metal container having a square cross section and a hollow part 1 is prepared and the hollow part 1 is filled with powders of raw materials 2, and after the metal container is vacuum-sealed, the container is rolled with flat rolls to give a sheet-like composite body 4 containing layered and compacted raw materials 2 in the metal matrix 3 shown as the figure. Then, after the sheet-like composite body 4 is molded into a spiralled body, the spiralled body 5 is packed in a metal tube 6 having a circular cross section and vacuum-sealed and then extruded to obtain a wire with a desired shape. Preparation of the ceramic superconductive conductor involves heating treatment after repeating those processes. In this way, a ceramic superconductive conductor with excellent superconductive properties can be obtained.
