SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To obtain the photosensitive material having good whiteness, high sensitivity and good preservable property by subjecting silver halide particles to gold sensitization and the spectral sensitization by dyestuffs of prescribed formula and adding a specific oil-soluble fluorescent brightener and compd. to the emulsion layers. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide particles of the silver halide emulsion layers of the silver halide photographic sensitive material formed by applying hydrophilic colloidal layers contg. at least one layer of the silver halide emulsion layers on an opaque base are subjected to the gold sensitization and are subjected to the spectral sensitization by the dyestuffs expresse by formula I and/or formula II (Y11, Y12, Y21, Y22 denote the nonmetal atom group necessary for perfecting 5- and 6-membered heterocycles; R11, R12, R21, R22 denote substd. or unsubstd. alkyl, aryl or aralkyl; R13 to R15, R23 to R26 denote a hydrogen atom or substd. or unsubstd. alkyl, alkoxy, phenyl, benzyl); further, the oil- soluble fluorescent brightener expresse by formula III and the compd. expresse by formula IV and/or formula V are added to the silver halide emulsion layers and/or other hydrophilic colloidal layers.
