CHANNEL SELECTION CONTROL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To prevent channel assignment from being disabled between plural cordless telephone sets by obtaining a statistic history data corresponding to channels, rearranging channel numbers in the order in which channels are not discriminated in block state based on the data and selecting an idle channel. CONSTITUTION:A connector 1 connects to a cordless telephone set 2 by a radio line and connects to a stationary telephone network via a wired telephone line 3. A clock 30 counts date and time and a busy/idle state discrimination frequency meter 31 counts frequency of busy/idle state discrimination number for each channel and stores the accumulated value. A control circuit 22 is provided with a program using the clock 30 and the busy/idle state discrimination frequency meter 31 to apply channel selection. When the busy/idle state of a channel is discriminated in the state transition process of idle channel retrieval, the channel number is stored, the storage is accumulated and the frequency of use table corresponding to the channel number is generated, the channel number series is generated in the order of low frequency and an idle channel is retrieved in the order according to the channel number series and an object channel scheduled to be used is selected and stored.
