Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a labelled antigen having objective antigenicity by using a specific method in the preparation of antiserum and the measurement of antigen Pravastatin. CONSTITUTION:Antiserum is prepared by bonding 5-dehydroxy-Pravastatin to carrier protein and sensitizing an animal with the bonded product as a hapten immunogen. Antigen Pravastatin is measured by subjecting 5-dehydroxy- Pravastatin labelled with enzyme and antigen Pravastatin to be measured to the competitive reaction with antiserum. Then, the labeled antigen to which the antibody present in antiserum is bonded is separated from the labelled antigen to which the antibody in antiserum is not bonded and the enzyme thereof is measured. The amount of the antigen Pravastatin to be measured is calculated from a standard curve formed by separately applying the same operation to be antigen Pravastatin. By this method, the labelled antigen having objective antigenicity is obtained using Pravastatin.
