Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To raise water-stop effect by a method in which a water-expanding rubber packing of a U-shaped cross section is interleaved between the upper end of each steel sheet pile segment and the lower end of the segment facing the other. CONSTITUTION:A U-shaped cross section of a water-expanding rubber packing 2, having sides 4 and 4' projecting at right angle to both sides of the section excluding the couplers of a bottom side 3 of a shape similar to the cross section of a steel sheet pile segment 1, is interleaved between the upper ends and lower ends of each steel sheet pile segment. The corners 7 of each steel sheet pile segment are also packed with a water-expanding seal 8 to integrate it with the packing 2.
