ROTARY DRIP REACTION APPARATUS AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE:To accelerate reaction with flux supplied at dropped position of molten metal by arranging a linear motor at side wall of a pot, giving rotation to molten metal supplied into the pot and specifying vol. shape of the pot and molten metal dropping rate, etc. CONSTITUTION:This rotary drip reaction apparatus is formed with the pot 2 for receiving the molten metal dropped flow 12, linear motor 11 and outer peripheral trough 3. The above linear motor 11 is embedded at side wall of the pot 2 to give the rotation to the molten metal supplied into the pot 2. Further, the above outer peripheral trough 3 receives the molten metal splashed as the drip with the centrifugal force generated by rotation. Then, the relation between the vol. Vp of the pot 2 to the molten metal dropping rate Wl specified to Vp=alphaWl (wherein alpha:1/10-1), the ratio between length (l) of horizontal part at inner face side of upper end in the pot side wall to diameter Dr of the pot to l/Dr45 deg. angle, are satisfied.
