CARD PROCESSOR

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of reading malfunction even when a card is carried for a long distance by individually constituting a block including a carrying device having a card inserting port and a block including a carrying device having a card reader and joining respective blocks. CONSTITUTION:The card processor 1 is constituted of joining respective blocks X, Y individually constituted. In the block X, a conveying path 3 is formed so as to be continued to the inserting part 2. In the Y, a magnetic head 27 and a pressing roller 29 are arranged on the way of the conveying path 4. Both the blocks X, Y are constituted so that the card outlet side face of the X is joined with the card inlet side face of the Y. Thereby, when both blocks are joined with each other, the X becomes the carrying mechanism of the inserting side and the Y becomes the carrying mechanism of the reading side, so that the card can be stably carried and reading malfunction is not generated. Consequently, a card can be carried for a long distance and stable reading accuracy can be secured.
