CORD TENSION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent a cord dropping from the pull roll of a pull roll device by arranging a dancer roll for always giving tension to the cord between the pull roll device and a traverse pulley. CONSTITUTION:When a traverse pulley 91 comes to the position corresponding to the second bobbin 8B owing to the movement of a movable base, the engagement of a stopper 99 and engaging member 97 is canceled, and a cord 5 is wound around the second bobbin 8B. Since at this time, the traverse pulley 91 moves to the side of the fourth pull roll device 64 accelerating, if the winding speed of an automatic winder does not follow this movement, the cord 5 will be loosened. If the cord 5 is loosened, a dancer roll 75 is lowered due to the self weight of the dancer roll and a slider for absorbing the looseness, which prevents the cord 5 from dropping from each pull roll of the fourth pull roll device 64 resulting in the switch of the cord 5 from the first bobbin 8A to the second bobbin 28B.
