MANUFACTURE OF CERAMIC PRODUCT

PURPOSE:To perform effective removal of a film of an elastic body by heating while cracks are prevented from occurrence by a method wherein after the film of the elastic body is treated on a ceramic molding with a specified value or higher of porosity and contg. a molding accelerator and is hydraulically pressed, a layer of an inorg. powder is formed on the film and is heated in an oxidative atmosphere and is then calcined. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic powder is properly incorporated with appropriate calcining accelerator and molding accelerator and is molded into a required shape and then, a drying procedure is applied to the molding to remove water to result in a porosity of 30% or higher. An elastic film with a specified thickness is airtightly formed on the whole area of this ceramic molding and is hydraulically pressed. Thereafter, a layer of an inorg. powder with a specified thickness is formed on the film of the elastic body and is then heated in an oxidative atmosphere to remove the molding accelerator and the film of the elastic body and then, calcining operation is applied to the ceramic molding.
