Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To manufacture a metal cutting tool having excellent toughness by executing powder rolling to the specific particle diameter of high speed tool steel rapid solidified powder to make a plate-like compact, executing sintering, cold rolling and annealing to the plate-like compact to make the specific density ratio of high density steel plate, processing it in to product shape and executing heat treatment and finish working to the above plate. CONSTITUTION:The powder rolling is executed to the rapid solidified powder of high speed tool steel having =99% density ratio, and after processing to the product shape, the heat treatment and finish working are executed. By this method, the metal cutting tool having excellent toughness and restraining the development of defect of chipping, etc., is obtd.
