Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide a highly safe trichogenous, hair-raising agent having excellent hair-raising activity to alopecia patients, locally active, having no adverse action and reduced in the irritation of skin by compounding a polypeptide BUF-3. CONSTITUTION:The agent contains 0.0001-1wt.%, preferably 0.001-0.3wt.%, (as the dry product) of a polypeptide BUF-3 which is the differentiation-inducing factor of erythroblast cells obtained from the culture solution of human myelocytic leukemia cells THP-1 and which has a homodimer structure prepared by combining two subunits each having a primary structure of the formula. The agent is applied ton alopecia patient in an one day dose of 10-10, preferably 10-3X10g/cm of the area of the skin to be applied.
