DISK PACKAGE

PURPOSE: To obtain new package capable of storing two discs by a method wherein pivoting axes of composing members arranged between covers are displaced in an opposite direction from each other and the package is formed in a zig-zag shape under a state in which the package is released. CONSTITUTION: Pivoting axes 49, 51 of a disc carrier 55 arranged between the two covers 53, 57 are arranged at opposite sides to cause a package to be formed in a zig-zag shape under its released state. Two covers 53, 57 are not provided with any clamp element, but only a disc carrier 55 is provided with a clamp element. The covers have the same shape to each other and further the covers are formed by transparent plastic. There is provided an extended section 63 projected at a side of the pivoting axis 49 in a transverse direction against the cover 53 and having such a depth as one storing an insert described with a title 65. Thus, the front page and the back page of the package can always be seen through the transparent upper surface of the cover 53 and the lateral projecting extended section 63.
