METHOD FOR CORRECTING INTERRUPTION AT HEAD AND END OF SPEECH

PURPOSE:To extremely reduce the degradation is sound quality by even then the sound is passed through many links by correcting interruption at the head and end of a speech by a reception part. CONSTITUTION:At the reception part of each CH, a speech head and end detection part 1 detects a sound frame, silence frame and timing for the speech head and end of the received sound signal according to sound/silence information with a prescribed cycle, and a signal is generated by successively attenuating the sound signal at the detected timing of the head and end of the speech in a front external inserting signal generation part 2 and a rear external inserting signal generation part 3. An additional means 4 adds the signal generated by the front external inserting signal generation part 2 to the silence frame before the timing for the head of the speech, and adds the signal generated by the rear external inserting signal generation part 3 to the silence frame after the timing for the end of the speech. Therefore, the interruption at the head and end of the speech is corrected.
