X-RAY IMAGE TUBE DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of the magnetic characteristics during processing and service and facilitate response to constructing in a larger size by using amorphous metal as material to a magnetic shield wall. CONSTITUTION:Amorphous metal is wound in lamination in several layers, for ex. seven layers, to form a cylindrical magnetic shield wall 37. It is difficult to make amorphous metal of large wall thickness for some reasons on manufacture, and therefore, in the case of using to the magnetic shield wall 37, a laminate thereof shall be formed so as to provide a thickness necessary to damp the external magnetism, Fixation of this laminated shield wall 37 is made in such a manner that the overlapping part is joined by welding 40 or adhesives. This amorphous metal is a material free from generation of strains in subsequent processing once it has undergone a heat treatment while taking the plate form, which ensures less variation of the magnetic characteristics. Thus an X-ray image tube of good performance can be constructed, and in particular a device with good economy is accomplished when embodied in a large size.
