CLOSURE FOR POST BRANCHING OF OPTICAL CABLE

PURPOSE:To allow the conduction of the work for a lower main optical cable without being hindered by surplus length housing cases by providing the housing cases turnably around opening/closing type hinges. CONSTITUTION:The main optical cable 2 is fixed by means of clamps 3 for the main optical cable to both ends of a closure housing 1 and the surplus length housing cases 7 are housed on a case stand 6 in the housing. The housing case stand 6 is provided with the opening/closing type hinge 8 having attachable/ detachable connecting pin 8C on one side thereof and the opening/closing type hinge 9 having the attachable/detachable connecting pin 9 on the other side. The main optical cable side can be opened when the housing case 7 is rotated around the hinge 8 at the time of carrying out the work of the main optical cable 2 and, therefore, the work of the main optical cable 2 is easily carried out without being hindered by the housing case 7.
