PRODUCTION OF MAGIC MIRROR

PURPOSE:To easily obtain the magic mirror which well produces an image by applying a resist over a metallic surface, forming ruggedness thereon by etching or electrocasting and polishing or plating the surface to from the delicate ruggedness. CONSTITUTION:The resist 2 is applied on a metallic body 1 for a mirror and is subjected to etching by which grooves 3 are formed thereon. The resist is then removed and the surface is polished so as to be smoothed or is plated in place of polishing. The resist 2 is applied on the surface and electrodeposition 4 is applied on the surface and electrodeposition 4 is applied thereon, then the surface is polished or plated after the resist 2 is removed as the method of using the electrocasting. The purpose of polishing the surface is to delicately produce the ruggedness for the production of the image on the magic mirror. The magic mirror for which such a technique as masterly skill is heretofore required and is produced piece by piece is easily produced by anyone in this way. The reproduction of many pieces of the magic mirrors is possible if the electrocasting is used.
