PIECE NUMBER COUNTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To improve counting job efficiency and to stabilize the quality of products by counting the number of products which are mass-produced by a fixed standard in a state where these products are stored in a container. CONSTITUTION:A measuring device 2 can measure the apparent physical quantity D of a product 6 in a state where the product 6 mass-produced by a fixed standard is stored in a container 5 which is invisible from the outside. An arithmetic unit 3 is electrically connected to the device 2 and fetches the output of the device 2 as an input. Then the unit 3 carries out a prescribed operation and outputs the arithmetic result. A deciding device 4 is electrically connected to the unit 3 to fetch the output of the unit 3 as an input and carries out a prescribed discrimination operation to output the operating result. In such a way, the products 6 can be counted with them kept in the container 5. Therefore no carry-in/out time is required for the products 6 and furthermore such defects as the scratches, the sticking of dust, etc., caused by the carry-in/out actions of the products 6 can be evaded.
