ACCELERATOR WIRE STRUCTURE FOR AUTOMOBILE

PURPOSE:To reduce the vibration transmitted to an inner wire by laying an extension/contractible member between the edge part of an outer wire and the prescribed part of the exposed surface of an inner wire and forming a gap between the inner wire on the inner surface of the extension/contractible member, and installing a friction member. CONSTITUTION:An extension/contractible member 17 is laid between the edge part of an outer wire 12 and a prescribed part of the exposed surface of an inner wire 13, and a friction member 20 is installed on the inner surface of the extension/contractible member 17, and a gap 22 is formed between the friction member 20 and the inner wire 15. Accordingly, the appearance/ disappearance of the inner wire 15 from the outer wire 12 is little, the inner wire 15 freely appears and disappears, keeping the gap between the friction member 20. When the inner wire 15 projects largely, the extension/contractible member 17 extends largely, and the extension/contractible member 17 deforms largely, and the diameter reduces, and the friction member on the inner surface of the extension/contractible member 17 shifts to the exposed surface side of the inner wire, and the gap is reduced, and friction-contacts the inner wire.
