Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of executing a setting operation of time counting data by an IC card side and to easily set the time counting data by providing a means for obtaining the time counting data set to a time counting means from a host device. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 consisting of a microprocessor, etc., controls an input and an output of data to a user and a communication to a host of a card. The card is connected to the host device through a connector 4, has a timepiece part 2 consisting of a timepiece IC, etc., time of the timepiece 2 is set from a key input part, and also, it is provided between the CPU 1 and the connector 4, and constituted of a software of the CPU 1 and a communication circuit. By inputting and outputting the time data between the card and the host device by a time data requesting means 5 and a time data receiving means 6, it is set. In such a way, the time counting data can be handled easily without necessitating a troublesome operation.
