DOWN LOAD CONTROL SYSTEM FOR CONTROL PROGRAM TO TERMINAL EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To shorten the down load time of a control program by storing the control program block included in a down load data block into a memory address of a terminal equipment which is equal to the address added to the head of the down load data block and attaining a down load operation via any block. CONSTITUTION:A control program 30 is divided into plural parts in a host computer 1, and a down load data block 31 is produced at the head of the program 30 to show the presence of the down load data. When a down load request is received from a terminal equipment 2, the computer 1 sends all at once the necessary down load data blocks 31 to all equipments 2. Thus, all equipments 2 can receive the blocks 31 all at once and each equipment 2 stores each necessary block 31 into its own memory 21. As a result, the down load time of the program 30 is shortened for the computer 1 to the equipment 2.
