Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent contamination of a fully matured fungal bed of edible mushrooms with various germs without damaging mushroom hyphae by treating the fully matured fungal bed with acetic acid, etc., and then using the resultant bed for cultivation. CONSTITUTION:A fully matured fungal bed of edible mushrooms such as SHIITAKE mushroom, Pleurotus ostreatus Quel., Flammulina velutipes Sing., Pholiota nameko S. Ito et Imai, Grifola frondosa S. F. Gray and Auricularia auricula is treated with any diluted solution (preferably 0.04-0.2% concentration) of acetic acid, rice vinegar, pyroligneous acid, other acetic acid-containing solutions or a mixture solution thereof and then used for cultivation.
