Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To perform conversion from graphics data with low resolution to the one with high resolution by arranging the next picture element data at the midpoint position of two pieces of picture element data arranged in the past, and arranging the picture element data by finding the midpoint sequentially. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, the point (a) of sending side (low resolution) picture element data A is arranged at the point (a) of receiving side (high resolution) picture element data B. Next, a sending side point (b) is received, and it is arranged at a receiving side point (b). The intermediate point (c) of the points (a) and (b) is found, and it is arranged at a receiving side point (c). Then, the intermediate points of the points (a) and (c) and the points (b) and (c) are found, and the picture element data on the coordinates of them are arranged at the receiving side intermediate points obtained similarly. When a computed result less than a decimal point as a result of computation is obtained, the number less than a first decimal place is rounded off, and the computation is continued until when the computed result (x) shows 1>=x. The arrangement of the picture element data in a horizontal direction is permitted to only a coordinate group having the coordinate in a perpendicular direction arranged in such way. The arrangement of the picture element data can be performed sequentially arrang ing the picture element data by receiving a sending side point (b1) first, and next, finding the intermediate point of the points (a) and (b1) setting as point (c1).
