BURNER DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obviate the need for a large installation area and reduce the investment cost by disposing a rotary drive shaft in an air duct having openings on its opposite ends and providing vanes constituting an impeller to feed combustion air. CONSTITUTION:When a rotary drive shaft 3 is rotated by means of a rotary drive source 6, vanes 5 are rotated so that the air is sucked from an opening 2a located upstream of an air duct 1 to send it to an opening 2b on the downstream side, while fuel gas comes to a fuel gas blowoff section 8 provided on the inner periphery of the duct 1 from a fuel gas feed member 9 to be blown off therefrom into the duct 1. In this manner, the air fed by the vanes 5 is mixed with the fuel gas blown off from the section 8 to effect combustion in the duct 1, whereby the high temperature combustion gas blows off as a hot gas flow from the opening 2b. At this moment, the amount of the air fed into the duct 1 by the vanes 5 can be increased or decreased by changing the number of revolution of the shaft 3. As a result, a blower and an air feed pipe connecting the blower and the air duct are not required, with the result that a large installation area is not needed and the investment cost can be reduced.
