Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To reduce the fuel stuck on the inner wall face of an intake pipe by providing a ultrasonic vibrator horn in the intake pipe of an engine, providing a fuel injection valve on an atomization section, and driving the ultrasonic vibrator horn synchronously with the drive of the fuel injection valve for intermittent atomization. CONSTITUTION:A ultrasonic atomizing device 11 constituted of a fuel injection valve 9 and a ultrasonic vibrator horn 10 is fitted at the downstream side of the throttle valve 8 of the intake pipe 4 of a spark ignition engine 1. An atomization section 12 is formed on one end side of the ultrasonic vibrator horn 10, and an electric/acoustic converting element 13 is provided on the other end side. High-amplitude and low-amplitude vibrations are applied to the ultrasonic vibrator horn 10 by a vibration setting means (not shown in the figure) synchronously with the drive signal of the fuel injection valve 9 for intermittent atomization, the fuel stuck on the inner wall face of the intake pipe 4 is reduced, and the responsiveness of the fuel feed in the same cycle is improved.
