ERRONEOUS DATA INPUT PREVENTING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To reduce the accident of erroneous data input to a data base, etc., by perform the lock/unlock of a key input state by depressing a dedicated key on a keyboard or performing a series of data input. CONSTITUTION:A key input lock/unlock mechanism 5 is comprised of a storage part 6, a time monitoring part 7, and a control part 8. The key input lock/ unlock mechanism 5 locks key input by performing a series of key input set in advance, and a mechanism to lock the key input is operated when no key input is performed within preset time. Also, the key input lock/unlock mechanism 5 unlocks the key input by performing the depression of the dedicated key 2a or a series of key input set in advance. Thereby, it is possible to prevent erroneous data inputted due to the accidental depression of a key by locking the key input while an operator is absent, and also, to lock the key input even when the lock designation of the key input is forgotten, which prevents the erroneous data being inputted accidentally.
