Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To improve germination, establishment and subsequent growth by dipping paddy rice seeds in water, hastening germination and then treating the seeds with choline or a salt thereof and calcium peroxide. CONSTITUTION:Seeds are disinfected and the dipped in water to hasten germination and the resultant seeds with hastened germination are subsequently coated with calcium peroxide while spraying an aqueous solution of choline or a salt thereof thereon. Thereby, the method has effects on excellent germination and establishment with good subsequent growth and an increase in yield.
