METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TEMPORARY SCAFFOLDING DOUBLING AS FORM TIMBERING

PURPOSE:To make smooth installation of temporary scaffolding feasible without the need for skilled labor by preparing a sleeper, connecting bolts, spacer pipes, fixing hardwares and tightening nuts in advance at a factory as a set, and by fixing and fastening these members to a flange of a steel beam. CONSTITUTION:To the tip of a connecting bolt 13 sheathed with a spacer pipe 15, a fixing hardware 14 in U shape section is screwed down, and the lower end of the bolt is inserted loosely through an upper round hole 17 of a sleeper 4. The bolt is further inserted loosely through a slit 18 provided at the underside of the sleeper, and is screwed down into a tightening nut 16' through a collar bush 16'. Then a round hole 19 is bored to the slit 18 at the underside of the sleeper 4 at a position right under the round hole 17, and these members are loosely assembled at a factory. Then the fixing hardwares 14 and 14 are engaged from the outside to a flange 2 of a steel beam 1 and are fixed thereto by fastening made with the connecting bolts 13 and the nuts 16'. Thereby an unitized temporary scaffolding doubling as a form timbering can be attached surely as well as safely.
