Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To automatically and accurately inspect the sex of a passenger by discriminating various features on sex, and applying fuzzy inference. CONSTITUTION:The image of a passenger 2 is picked up by a TV camera 4 and various features such as hair length, lip color, clothes, hair color, and stature of the passenger 2 are discriminated by corresponding discriminators 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 through an image analyzing part 6. Fuzzy inference is executed by a fuzzy inference part 18 based upon the discriminated results, so that the sex of the passenger 2 is automatically decided, and the accurate inspection of the passenger's sex can be executed without requiring an inspection time.
