LOWER LAYER LIQUID INTAKE APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To take in only the sediment mixed liquid of a lower layer by parallelly arranging the required parts of both side surfaces of a large number of plate-shaped pieces having rotary ends on both sides thereof and having the center of gravity at a position lower than the center of rotation to both side surfaces of a trough in a freely rotatable manner using the rotary ends. CONSTITUTION:Rotary ends 1, 1 are provided to both side surfaces 6, 6 of each of plate-shaped pieces 10 to provide an upper surface 3 and a lower surface 4 thereto above and below the center 2 of rotation. The center 5 of gravity to the whole of each of the plate-shaped pieces 10 is provided at a position lower than the center 2 of rotation and the parts of both side surfaces 6, 6 are parallelly arranged to the parts of both side surfaces 7, 7 of a trough 11 in a freely revolvable manner using the rotary ends 1, 1. At this time, a large number of the plate-shaped pieces 10 are arranged to the trough 11 at required positions where the leading end parts 9 of the plate-shaped pieces 10 can come into contact with the arbitrary parts of the surfaces of the adjacent plate-shaped pieces 10 at arbitrary rotary positions. That is, when water is drained from the end of the trough 11, the plate-shaped pieces 10 fall to become a tubular shape to drain water and, therefore, the sludge or sediment settled to the lower layer in the trough can be taken in.
