FACSIMILE RECEIVER CAPABLE OF CALLING CONVERSATION

PURPOSE:To receive an image signal only from a prescribed communicating party and to increase an effective using time by informing a conversation request only at the time of receiving a previously registered identification(ID) number signal. CONSTITUTION:A telephone calling signal and a facsimile signal from a telephone line 1 are received by a circuit network control circuit NCU part 2 and inputted to an image processing part 5 through a MODEM part 4. The NCU part 2 includes a tone decoder 3, which decodes the push-button dial tone of a transmitter and separates an ID number signal. The ID number signal is sent to a connection control part 11 in a control part 8 and an ID storage part is accessed. The prescribed ID number is previously stored in the ID storage part, the inputted ID number signal is compared with the ID number by an ID comparing part, and only at the time of receiving an ID number signal corresponding to the ID number, a conversation request is informed. Thus, image signals can be received only from the prescribed communicating party and the effective using time can be increased.
