AEROSOL COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To prepare an aerosol compsn. excellent in the usability and stability and useful for cosmetics and drugs by incorporating a water-swellable clay mineral, a quaternary ammonium cationic surfactant, a nonionic surfactant, a water phase, an oil phase contg. a specific silicone, and a propellant into the compsn. CONSTITUTION:A water-swellable clay mineral (e.g. Kunimine Industry's Smectone), a quaternary ammonium cationic surfactant (e.g. distearyldimethylammonium chloride), a nonionic surfactant (e.g. oxyalkylene- modified organopolysiloxane), a water phase (e.g. an ion-exchanged water), an oil phase contg. at least one high-mol.wt. silicone of the formula (wherein R1 is CH3, or a part of it is phenyl; R2 is CH3 or OH; and n is 3000-20000), and a propellant (e.g. LPG) are incorporated into an aerosol compsn.
