Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To excellently deposit a lustrous plating film by adding a water-soluble product obtained by the reaction of a polyamine with the aldehyde and carboxylic acids to a citric acid-based tin (alloy)-based electroplating bath. CONSTITUTION:A polyamine is allowed to react with an aliphatic aldehyde or an aromatic aldehyde and an aliphatic carboxylic acid or an aromatic carboxylic acid or their esters or an aliphatic or aromatic carbonyl halide to prepare a water-soluble reaction product. The product is added to a tin (alloy) plating bath contg. citric acid (salt). The additive is added by about 0.5-5g per liter of the bath. The deposition of a resious material on a material to be plated is controlled by the use of the additive, and a lustrous electroplating film is formed on the material.
